On Billboard’s multi-metric Hot Christian Songs listing, “Battle Belongs,” pushes 3-2 for a brand new excessive. It drew 1.7 million U.S. streams and bought 1,000 downloads within the week ending April 1.
The 36-year-old San Diego native attained his first Christian Airplay chief in 2014 when “This Is Superb Grace” dominated for 10 frames beginning that March. Of his 18 charted titles, he has banked six high 10s. His third entry, “Protected,” turned his first high 10, peaking at No. 4 in 2010.
“Battle Belongs” follows Wickham’s “Nice Issues,” which reached No. 7 final July.
Wickham’s new No. 1 is the lead single from his album Hymn of Heaven, due June 25.
