American actress Libe Barer is well-known for the Amazon Prime original series “Sneaky Pete” where she played the role of Carly Bowman in the year 2015. Besides this she appeared in the short film “Disfluency” and has also been a part of shows like “Those who can’t”, “Colony” and guest starred in “iCarly” and “Unfabulous”. Libe played a role of Kiara which brought her to the spotlight on the NBC’s comedy drama series “Parenthood”. She also appeared in the drama series “Disney Star Darlings” where she gave her voice and got the fame for the same. She also got featured in a commercial for Subway. Presently she got a role of co-lead as Penelope in the comedy drama movie “The Lost Weekend”.
Libe got an LACHSA Moondance Film Festival Award by the Los Angeles Country High School for the Arts, for her Screenplay “On Top of the World”.
Libe’s younger sister Ariela Barer is also an actor. Her friends hold a special place in her heart and they have supported her since high school, they are just like a family to her.
Libe says she is a writer and hopes that one day she will write and direct her own films as well. She also likes to sing and play guitar and recently she picked up the ukulele. One hundred Years of Solitude is one of her favourite book, the book is so dear to her as she can relate to it in every phase of her life.
